Escaping Argentina: A True Covid Mission Story Book 1 (Mission Stories)

After serving a religious mission in Argentina for a year and a half, with the expectation of serving another six months, I (the author, Luke Beckstrand) was suddenly thrown into a wild adventure of needing to get out of the country before the borders closed as the global pandemic COVID-19 hit. As the country fell into military lockdown, I had three days to coordinate the other missionaries overwhom I was a leader and get them to the safety of our mission capital, and from there, to get to the country capital of Buenas Aires. We battled legal issues and travel obstacles all the while the clock was ticking on our time limit to get out. If we didn’t make it out of the country in three days, we’d be trapped there for an unforseeable amount of time.
